Beginners Strategy for Pai Gow Poker
Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players don’t have to worry about any other, more knowledgeable people winning their $$$$.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, rookies should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty selections.
It’s also easier to gamble on for a very long time with just a tiny bit of money after all, to not win, each of your hands must be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.
One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
