Novice Strategy for Double-Hand Poker
Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a great game for beginning level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the croupier, not like most other poker games that players bet against other players. By playing against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to fret about other, more advanced individuals taking their money.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game pace, newcomers will be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty decisions.
It is also much simpler to gamble on for an extended time with just a tiny bit of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the croupier gets 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
