Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the house, not like most other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced individuals taking their cash.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty choices.

It is also easier to wager on for an extended time with basically a small amount of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the house receives seven cards face down.

One five card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
