Web poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes immediately to the casino. After the bet is the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a sum in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The bank pays money equal to your original bet and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
