Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in a wonderful game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the casino, not like the majority of other poker games that players wager against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to worry about other, more knowledgeable people taking their $$$$.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, novices will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make frenzied decisions.

It is also much simpler to participate in for a long time with just a small bit of money after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the house is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
