Novice Tactics for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in an awesome game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the casino, not like most other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players do not need to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable players winning their moolla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, newcomers will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty selections.

It is also simpler to play for a very long time with just a small amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
